We are delighted to present this exclusive 18K Vacheron Constantin “222” Ref. 46003/411J from 1981.
The 222 was introduced in 1977 and designed by the then young German watch designer Jörg Hysek for the 222nd anniversary of the Vacheron Constantin brand.
The special feature of our 222 is the version with a black dial. Normally, the yellow gold version was delivered with a yellow/champagne-colored dial. In our example, the dial was exchanged for the black dial at a later point by VC at the customer's request. This can be seen again in the certificate of authenticity from VC dated May 2024. The dial is flawless!
The watch underwent a complete service by Vacheron Constanin in June 2024. The luminous material of the hands and the dial was replaced with Luminova. In addition to the service, a certificate of authenticity was also produced by VC and is included in the scope of delivery.
The case of the watch is in good condition with slight signs of wear and minor scratches.
The honeycomb-shaped, integrated GF gold bracelet is in very good condition. Slight stretch is present.
